Dr. Aleya Shoieb serves as the Principal of Franklin Elementary in Rahway, NJ. With 18 years of experience as a K-12 teacher, reading specialist, assistant principal and principal, her current work focuses on equity and justice, culturally responsive pedagogy and developing a community of highly effective leaders.

Miss Jones is a compassionate and energetic Algebra teacher at Rahway 7th & 8th Grade Academy. Her approach to teaching is unique, to say the least largely due to her educational background. After earning a bachelor's in psychology from Montclair State University and a master's degree in Family Counseling from Regent University, she discovered her passion for education. She is committed to teaching the whole child, employing positive reinforcement teaching techniques to encourage students to make constructive behavioral choices and to reach her elevated academic expectations.

Trisha Camp is in her 8th year as the Superintendent of Rahway Public Schools and has decades of education experience in K-12, university, and medical school settings.  Her entire career is focused on equitable access to high quality education and careers for ALL people.

Tiffany Beer is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Rahway Public Schools.  Prior to this, she served as a Program Supervisor of Literacy and a high school English teacher.  With experience in curriculum writing and professional development, her current work is focused on creating a teacher driven, ongoing professional learning network in the district.  She is also focused on creating a curriculum cycle that will address the need for culturally relevant curriculum and pedagogy.

Lauren Battiato is a seventh grade Language Arts teacher in Rahway, New Jersey. Spending over 10 years as a classroom teacher, school leadership team member, and curriculum writer, Lauren strives to provide educators with supportive strategies and relevant curriculum content regardless of their place in their journeys as educators.
